Superbowl hangover

I didn't post a blog yesterday, because like many of you, I had Super Bowl fever. I couldn't wait to watch Seattle kick some Patriot butt. Anyone who's anyone knows that that didn't happen, (F*ckin' Wilson), but it was still a fun game to watch. It's not very often you get a game with such drama, and that's what it's all about; putting it all on the line.
Now that the shenanigans are over, and I'm done hating Wilson, mostly, I've decided that, for a hangover cure, you should take a look at all the hot men who participated in the 2014 season. Here are the top 11 men that made me realize why I love this game. Or why I love watching it anyway.

Picture
1. Cam Newton
 Carolina Panthers Quarterback. 25-years-old, single.
Cam came out with all cylinders firing. Made to break records since his debut in 2011, he has been dominating the game of football. Obviously handsome, This  amazing quarterback has been like Teflon doing a press conference mere days after rolling his truck on December 9th. Let's just hope he heals and gets the chance to hit the field again.

                     3.Victor Cruz
New York Giants Wide Receiver; 28-years-old, engaged.
Being part of the perfect season for the Giants had to be an amazing feeling. Of the 19 touchdowns he had that season, 15 of them were from other teams! Basically, making them look like poo. Even though he was only able to play 6 games this season, Victor is a force to be reckoned with. I feel a speedy recovery and a great next season ahead of him!

  2. Colin Kaepernick
San Francisco 49ers Quarterback, 27-year-old, single
This season was a tough one for him, but he's more than proven he's worth the time and effort. And, if it's true that he's getting help from  Kurt Warner, then he has nothing to worry about for the next season.

 4. Chris Long
St. Louis Rams Defensive End, 29-years-old, married.
Chris is the son of pro football Hall of Famer Howie Long. Chris also likes to hit because he's damn good at it. His brother Kyle Long, who players for Chicago Bears is also a hitter, but more likely to stop you in your tracks. Basically, a big family of walls.

5. Calvin Johnson
Detroit Lions Wide Receiver, 29-years-old, relationship.
Another record breaking stud, Calvin is very similar to Usain Bolt in that he uses his height as advantage smashing those around him. It's no wonder he was Christened with the nickname Megatron.

6. Aaron Rodgers
Green Bay Packers Quarterback, 30-years-old, relationship
Aaron Rodgers has an amazing ability to not throw interceptions too often. You hear that ladies? He's got good control of his balls.

7. Troy Polamalu
Pittsburg Steelers Strong Safety, 33-years-old, married.
Known equally for his luxurious hair, Troy is a powerhouse who stops at nothing to get the tackle. He is also avid in the garden, and he builds chairs. He's like a boulder with a squishy center.

8. Eric Decker
New York Jets Wide Receiver; 27-years-old, married.
This Minnesota native is a handsome young man putting me in the mind of a young Kurt Warner. He's incredibly talented and it sucks that he started out with a foot injury, but he's worked hard. I hope his time with the Jets shows how fantastic he is so that we can get more picture of him in suits... and shirtless. Whatever.

9. Mark Sanchez
Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback, 28-years-old, single.
I think with his trade to the Eagles, Mark will regain the confidence lost and bring some of that finesse back out to the field. While he's doing that, he's constantly representing for his Mexican-American heritage.

10. Sam Bradford
St. Louis Rams Quarterback, 27-years-old, single
The he reinjured his ACL, Sam has a lot of potential to become a great starting quarterback. He's ambitious, strong, quick, and has a great arm. I just hope the Rams keep that same enthusiasm for him as they started with.

11. Larry Fitzgerald
Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver, 31-years-old, single.
Not only is he from Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is my hometown, he is also the youngest NFL player to reach 11,000 career receiving yards. That's a hell of a lot of running, and it sure pays off because he is incredibly handsome. He's also quite the philanthropist giving back to the community he came from establishing the Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund allowing kids in both Arizona and Minnesota to get summer athletic programs, fixing up worn down basketball courts and making sure kids have the right equipment to participate. Who doesn't love a guy with a big... heart.

Bonus: Kurt Warner retired quarterback, Hall of Fame eligible, 43-years-old, married

He's really the main reason I wanted to make this list. I was bummed that he wasn't picked for the Hall of Fame, but, it's his first year of eligibility, and throughout his entire career, he's never gone through the normal process of becoming great. I mostly watched him when he was the quarterback for the St. Louis Rams. He was great and his leadership on and off the field are something to be admired. So he will get his in due time, and I can't wait for that announcement to come!
